We are located at the Department of Chemistry of the Faculty of Science and Technology, UNL, research center CQFB, Associated Laboratory REQUIMTE.
Our main research interests deal with the structural analysis and functional interpretation of proteins, using X-ray Crystallography. The main focus of our research are: (1) Metalloproteins and/or proteins involved in electron transfer processes (containing Mo, W, Fe/S, Zn, Co, hemes) and (2) the multienzymatic complex Cellulosome responsible for plant cell wall degradation.
